Dynamic realignment of the patella

Indications

It helps to realign the patella following episodes of patellar subluxation or dislocation.

It relieves anterior knee pain and mild to moderate chronic pain.

It is prescribed for patellar tendinopathy, Osgood-Schlatter’s disease and ‘wiper’ syndrome.

Description

The brace is made from Drytex (breathable nylon and Lycra).

The joints provide lateral control; they are semi-flexible, removable and integrated.

A silicone patellar insert exerts constant lateral pressure on the patella.

Separate fastenings for the straps at the calf and thigh prevent the brace from rotating.

Sizes: XS to XXXL.

Measurement instructions

Starting from the centre of the kneecap, measure 15 cm from this point using a tape measure, following the front of the thigh.

From this point, measure the circumference of the thigh.

Measure the circumference of the knee at the centre of the kneecap.

Finally, measure the calf at its widest point.

Once you have taken these three measurements, refer to the size chart.
