Cold therapy and compression for an operated knee

Indications

The Perform'Ice Knee brace is recommended for use in the pre- or post-operative phase, and in the post-traumatic phase.

It combines cryotherapy with the necessary compression and immobilisation (GREC or RICE protocol).

It is also prescribed for surgical procedures such as total or partial joint replacement.

Description

Cryotherapy is provided by a removable cold pack fitted with an inflatable cover and a manual pump to create a compressive effect; the gel in the cold pack remains malleable.

It is easy to apply thanks to the splint’s wraparound design.

The splint can be adjusted during treatment; the side splints are removable and are included to provide additional support, but can be easily removed during the rehabilitation phase.

The aluminium joints are concentric and adapt to the patient.

The material is comfortable and breathable.

Two independent straps allow adjustment of support and compression levels.

Sizes: available in 2 sizes, Standard or XL, adaptable to all body types.
