Manex Rheuma Pollus
Rest for the thumb affected by rheumatoid arthritis

Indications

The Manex Rheuma Pollus Wrist and Thumb Brace is indicated for post-operative care, and for pain associated with osteoarthritis, arthritis and sprains of the wrist and thumb.

Worn at night, it relieves acute and chronic night-time pain.

Contraindications:

The splint is not suitable for unstable fractures.

Description

A splint bar keeps the wrist in slight extension.

A second splint supports the thumb column.

The splint is fastened with five Velcro straps: one to support the thumb, and the other four to support the wrist.

Comfortable SoftTex fabric, a breathable material offering great comfort.

Sizes: S-M-L-XL.

To choose the right size, please refer to the size chart and the accompanying diagram showing how to take the correct measurements.

Measure the circumference around your wrist.

Specify left or right.

Fitting instructions

• Start by undoing the Velcro straps on the splint.
• Place your hand on the splint
• Thread your thumb through the thumb loop.
• Adjust the strap around the thumb, then refasten the straps and Velcro fastenings on the forearm, adjusting the tightness as required.
