Flexible thumb splint

Indications

The thumb immobilisation brace is indicated for sprains, dislocations or osteoarthritis of the thumb joint (rhizarthrosis).

Immobilisation is effective in cases of injury and disease; the brace provides pain relief.

These splints are not suitable for unstable fractures.

Description

A splint stabilises the thumb.

The brace is secured with a wide wrist strap.

The comfortable TriTex fabric – a lightweight, breathable, elastic and latex-free material – ensures effective support.

Sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL

To choose the right size, use the size chart and accompanying instructions; you can find these on the product page.
Measure the circumference around your wrist, as shown in the diagram accompanying the size
chart. Please ensure you specify whether it is for the right or left hand when ordering (see the product page).

Fitting instructions

• Start by undoing the Velcro straps on the splint.
• Position the hand on the splint.
• Adjust the strap around the thumb, then reattach the strap at the wrist, adjusting the tightness.
• Replace and fasten the strap when the brace is not in use.
