Three-zone compression of the tendon

Indications

Achilles tendonitis and tenosynovitis; the post-operative period following Achilles tendon repair.

Description

Made from class 2 compression fabric, with a graduated compression zone.

The ankle support has three compression zones, with an upper pressure zone located above the ankle joint.

A silicone pad is integrated at the Achilles tendon.

It applies compression on either side of the Achilles tendon to support it and relieve painful strain.

The compression also helps to reduce any localised swelling.

The ankle support contains an 8mm-thick silicone heel pad to allow the Achilles tendon to relax.

An additional heel pad is supplied to balance the height of the opposite foot.

Hand washing is recommended at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
