Indications

The ankle brace is indicated during the acute phase of a moderate sprain (stage 2), in cases of chronic ankle instability, for post-operative use, and as a preventative measure to enable the continuation of daily or sporting activities for people prone to recurrence.

Description

The anatomically shaped bilateral shells reduce the risk of inversion/eversion by providing enhanced medial and lateral support and ensuring sustained stabilisation of the ankle.

They restrict lateral movement.

The ATOP/MOZ lacing system provides uniform and customised compression.

The new system does not come loose unless the tab is lifted, ensuring consistent tightness over time.

The ankle brace slips on easily like a sock, with the elasticity of the heel allowing for optimal adjustment.

Stability is enhanced at the bimalleolar clamp.

The anterior cross strap (anterior talofibular) provides additional stability and compression whilst allowing unrestricted walking movement.

The rear strap provides additional stability at the bi-malleolar clamp.

The material is breathable.
